One of the political pundit/journo's we catch up with every day is the passionate democrat Keith Olberman, on cable channel MSNBC. He gets stuck right in quite often on his programme 'Countdown".
His latest target is Sarah Palin, and her mad assertion that the Republicans are losing the election to a terrorist.... This comment was done pre-debate and video comes in mid-flight, with KO picking up on the case of a 90 year old woman who shot herself over a mortgage foreclosure.... she survived, Palin may not...although she'll no doubt have a show on Fox News.
The sort of thing never seen in the NZ electronic media, but happily run in the papers.
You might be wondering about the phone at the end of this ...it was in fact the University of Colorado Foundation ringing to ask us for money. Our cable TV has "on screen caller ID" ...they think of everything. But we still answered it.
